Argentina’s FAdeA Hosts UAE-Based GAL in Bid to Expand Global Aerospace Partnerships
The visit marks a key step in FAdeA's strategy to grow its international footprint and position itself as a global MRO provider.
The Fábrica Argentina de Aviones “Brigadier San Martín” S.A. (FAdeA) welcomed a delegation from Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL)—a leading maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) services provider headquartered in the United Arab Emirates—to its Córdoba industrial complex. The visit is part of FAdeA’s broader strategy to increase its international presence and diversify revenue streams.
During the tour, representatives from GAL, a subsidiary of the defense and technology conglomerate EDGE Group, expressed strong interest in several of FAdeA’s core strategic capabilities. Key areas of attention included engineering, composite materials manufacturing, sheet metal workshops, and FAdeA’s comprehensive maintenance capabilities for aircraft, engines, and components.
The Emirati delegation was able to witness firsthand the processes and quality standards of FAdeA’s operations. The state-owned manufacturer currently provides to Argentina’s armed forces and is working to position itself as a regional and global aerospace service provider.
The meeting concluded with an agreement between both parties to further explore specific opportunities for short-term collaboration. While details of potential t projects were not disclosed, the complementarity between the two companies opens a wide range of possibilities. FAdeA brings extensive experience in aircraft manufacturing and maintenance, while GAL holds a strong client portfolio and a well-established presence in the competitive Middle East and African markets.
